What is Mad Paws?
Mad Paws is a platform that connects Dog Owners with trusted, experienced, and insured Dog Walkers. We find and vet the very best local Dog Walkers in your area so you can access them when you need them. We take the hassle away from searching for a Dog Walker. No more searching for the right companion for your furry friend - we do the work for you!
When can I use Mad Paws?
Mad Paws operates 7 days a week, from 8am to 6pm. To ensure we can guarantee a Dog Walker for your furbaby, we recommend you make a booking at least two hours in advance. If you would like a Dog Walker for the weekend, we recommend making your booking on a weekday.
How does Mad Paws work?/How can I make a Booking?
1- Simply fill out the booking form requesting a Dog Walker and provide any special requirements and preferences.
2- Based on this information, the Mad Paws team will find a suitable Dog Walker matching your criteria.
3- You receive your Dog Walker's contact details so you can communicate and arrange a Meet & Greet if you'd like. You can also ask to receive updates and photos from the walk from your Dog Walker!
How do I pay for my booking?
After filling out the booking form, you will be prompted to pay for the walk. However, you will not be charged until the walk is completed on the day of the booking. Every week, our Walkers fill out a timesheet with the number of walks completed for your booking. From there, we make charges accordingly. For any cancellations, simply email us at service@madpaws.com.au prior to your booking.
Is Mad Paws for me?
If you're a busy individual who wants their pooch to get the exercise they need, Mad Paws is for you!
Can I meet and greet the Walker beforehand?
Yes! For recurring walks, we encourage our customers to have a Meet & Greet. This way, you can rest assured your pup is in good hands . Before the Meet & Greet we text you the contact details of our Walkers so you can get in touch with them. If you don't like the Walker assigned, let us know and we will match you with a different Walker!
Will my Mad Paws Walker be a good fit?
After your first few bookings we'll ask for your feedback, and ask how much you liked your Dog Walker. If for any reason you aren't satisfied with your assigned Dog Walker, contact our team and we'll happily assign you another Walker.
Can I have the same Walker for every booking?
Yes, for recurring bookings we can match you with a regular Walker. After all, we know how important it is to create consistency with your pet. If for some reason they're not available, we’ll give you the option to either change your time or have one of our other stellar Walkers walk your pooch.
How early can I book my walk?
Mad Paws is an on-demand walking service. As such, we strive to provide you with a Walker within two hours of your request.

Is Mad Paws Secure?
Mad Paws is committed to creating a community that Dog Owners trust. We understand that trusting your furbaby to someone else is no small thing. That's why we ensure that all Dog Walkers are trusted, vetted, and experienced.
How many dogs can I book for?
Mad Paws can take up to two dogs per Walker from the same Owner. All walks are private one-on-ones. If you have more than two dogs, please contact our team.
What are the walk prices?
We offer 45 minutes for either 1 or 2 dogs provided the dogs are from the same Owner:
1 Dog x 45min walk is $20
2 Dogs x 45min walk $25 - only $5 extra per dog
If you have any requirements in addition to the walk, please contact our team.
How long is each walk?
Each walk lasts for 45 minutes per session.
How often should I use Mad Paws?
Each dog is unique. Most dogs require a 30 - 1 hour exercise per day, however more active breeds and larger dogs may require more exercise. This is why we provide 45-minute dog walks, as it's a sweet spot for most dog sizes and breeds.
Who will be walking my dog?
Trust and safety are our priority! All of our Walkers have gone through a rigorous process to become Mad Paws Dog Walkers. They are experienced with dogs, vetted, trusted, and certified by the Mad Paws team. We also encourage our Dog Walkers to undergo a police check.
Are dogs walked off-leash?
Mad Paws requires all dogs to stay on leash for safety purposes unless the Owner specifically requests differently.
What if my dog has special needs?
Simply mention any special instructions or needs when making a booking request!
Can I communicate with the Walker?
Of course! Once we find you a Walker, we send you their contact details, as well as their Mad Paws profile. You can then organise a meet and greet, receive photos, and communicate with them.
